I didn't even know what NSD was until the crops were announced at various sites. I'm so glad I participated at the crop over at The Shaker Box. Number 1 I love challenges. They get me going like I'm in a race and have to be the first one done with all layouts. Number 2 They let me see how much I've grown in my scrapping since the last crop. I'm only going to post a few of my favorites and then I want you to reply with YOUR favorite layout YOU did this weekend. Whether or not you participated in a crop. I want to know why it's your favorite as well. Was it your photo? The kit you used? Or was it because it challenged you? Or showed you how to do something new? Everyone who participates will get their name in a drawing and I will let that person choose the next challenge! Ok onto my favorites!

I was informed that I had not updated this blog in a while so as a punishment I'm issuing a little challenge of my own. No prizes...I can't do that so it's all in good fun! When I post LO's in galleries for challenges or just for fun. People always comment on how good my journaling is. I don't think my journaling is really good. I just write whatever comes to mind at that exact moment. I don't think about it as I'm making the page or anything. I want to see the LO or multiple LO's where YOU thought your journaling was best!

NSD News...Ok gals so you know that I'm incredibly lucky to be on the Creative Team of the wonderfully talented Robin Blankenship AKA Mad Scrapper Designs. Well this weekend only May 2nd - 4th in honor of NSD she has her whole shop at 40%!! That puts those AMAZING Alphamaps at just 45 cents each!! That label kit at $2.55! Ok with the crop done over at The Shaker Box I can now start posting my layouts! I did over 35 layouts in one week!!! I'm so just in awe that I got that many done! I'll be posting my favorites to begin with but first I have some exciting news!! Robin from Mad Scrapper Designs has graciously accepted me onto her first ever Creative Team!! I'm so excited to get the chance to play around with her wonderful kits!! If you've never checked her out you should go right now to http://madscrap.blogspot.com/ and visit her blog! I am starting to make a deck of bible verses I can keep in my bag for inspiration. Sometimes when I'm out I like to pull out a bible verse and read it to help me through my day. God always seems to share just the right word at the right time. I usually have them all written down in a spiral but this way is so much prettier. Here is number 1 in my set.

Psalms 120:1 - "In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me."

I hope to do at least 1 a week or more so that I can memorize them as well.

Here are some of my older layouts. This one was for a challenge over at www.colorlinedesign.com . It was supposed to be a list, whether a grocery list, a list of wishes, or anything. I made a list of summer wishes. I used the Unda Da Sea kit by Kim B.

This was my second layout ever so excuse it if it's not very nice looking. LOL. It is eventually going to be put as the cover to a journal I keep in my bag.

I don't remember what kit I used so if you recognize it or if it's yours let me know and I will credit it!
